The New York Mets 66-60 look for a three-game sweep over the Cleveland Indians 74-53 tonight. The Mets won their fourth straight game last night when J.D. Davis singled in the 10th for a 4-3 game victory. The Mets keep finding ways to win in every situation it seems, definitely a dangerous team this time of the season.

The Tribe will try and get back on track tonight by sending Aaron Civale to the mound, he's 1-2 on the year with a 1.50 ERA. With only 24.0 inning pitched under his belt he has 22 strikeouts, he hasn't allowed a home run and has only walked 6 batters so far.

The red hot Mets will counter with hard throwing righty Noah Syndergaard, he's 8-6 on the year with a 3.86 ERA. Through 154.0 innings pitched he has 151 strikeouts, he's given up 15 home runs and walked 42 batters. New York couldn't be more happy with the decision on keeping him at the trade deadline.

As of today the Cleveland Indians trail the Minnesota Twins by 3 games in the AL Central. Cleveland holds a half game lead over the Oakland Athletics and the Tampa Bay Rays for the top AL wild card spot. The New York Mets are right in the thick of the NL wild card chase, they're tied with the Philadelphia Phillies, both teams trailing the St. Louis Cardinals for the second wild card spot by 1.5 games.

    Enjoy the game everyone.
