The Milwaukee Brewers 66-62 look to build on back to back victories and aim for their third straight when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks 64-65 in game 2 of the three-game set.

The traveling Diamondbacks will send newly aquired rookie right-hander Zac Gallen to the mound this evening. Since coming over from Arizona, Gallen is 2-3 with a 2.45 ERA. Through 51.1 IP he has 60 strikeouts, he's given up 3 long balls and walked 28 batters so far. Gallen will be a quality pitcher for the Dbacks for years to come if they chose to keep him.

The Brewers will send Chase Anderson to the bump, he's 5-3 with a 4.54 ERA. Through 107.0 IP he has 99 strikeouts, he's given up 18 home runs and issued 38 walks on the year.

The Brewers have moved within three games of the Chicago Cubs for the NL's second wild-card spot. Milwaukee is 3.5 games behind the NL Central leading St. Louis Cardinals. Arizona has lost back to back games and is currently 5.5 games back of the Cubs in the wild card race. Enjoy the game everyone.
