A few days ago I flagged a post that was showing how to source images from Google. Maybe it is handy, but it is against the law because if you would do such a thing, you're stealing from photographers. Photographers that may have spent more than 10 years to be able to create images like that. I am very disappointed in the reaction @Bilal gave me. He asks me to remove my flag, and he seems to be supporting plagiarism?? I was hoping this platform would be more serious about Copyright Infringement and Intellectual Property created by other human beings on this planet with hard and honest work.

What do you think of stealing and using images from Google?

      Salam kenal buat semuanya 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@ruben-cress you are not allowed to flag any post that you doesn't like.. actually @bilal is right with his comment. @hal-bos is not teaching plagiarism instead he is telling how to check the source file of any image shared here and you simply flag his post to zero.. please remove your flag from the post.

@ruben-cress is correct in this. Sourcing images from Google is against copyright because it does not give credit to the owner of the photograph.

According to me when a person use someones images he needs to give credits or source of that image ,
Giving the source from google is right way because it creates backlinks which helps the original creator to gain more traffic or rank on google.
Giving source is always beneficial for the original creator because he gets more attention by others.

I'll ask you two simple questions: From who is the image? Google or the photographer? Who do you consult if you want to use an image that you found on Google? Google or the photographer that took it?

Bonus question: Who took the photo? Google, or the photographer?

I have a feeling you do not understand that sourcing is not the proper way to unsolicited use images that you found on Google. It is in fact, by law, mandatory to credit and source an image, wherever you have found it. And it is up to the photographer to sell a license for online publication.

Therefore, the article that @hal-bos published is giving false information about "sourcing an image properly" since it is in most cases considered to be plagiarism. Do you want to have a community that steals and plagiarizes? I don't. So I flag those who support plagiarism and copyright infringement.

@ruben-cress according to me, you don't have the right to ask.. to remove the photograph, if it does not belong to you. :)
.. if someone shares your photo, then you have 100% right, to go the person, and ask him to remove it.
.. you can, however, express the feeling .. as this is a free platform.
in anycase, you can't flag anyone anymore .. so find other ways to express whatever you have in your heart.
      Good luck

I guess I will have to inform the rightful owners of the intellectual property then, you seem to be in favor of people stealing content online? Sounds really scammy to me.

It will be your and the witnesses their responsibility to prevent users from uploading copyright-protected content.
      Good luck.

Off course taken by some photographer my friend.. but exactly what is your problem @ruben-cress/why you flag his post?

      • Is he teaches plagiarism or he took some random image from the internet without proper rights?

If he do so, then you can warn him or you make him aware of the right thing if you wish rather than flagging/downvoting directly with your high voting power.

And Bonus : May be @ruben-cress you are the secondary account of @deranged-vision

      • Same pattern in both of your post
      • 100% upvote from the biggining
      • Posting on same time and become ABSENT on same continues days
      • Many more..

Be good first then start flagging others!!

I don't have to warn anyone if there are rewards on the post that are in direct conflict with what I believe to be in violation of common rules the entire world knows.
