Mackerel spicy salted with beaten cucumbers

    Today we will beat the cucumbers and salt the mackerel. Two recipes in one!
    So, the pig bought a ready-made mackerel of spicy salting and decided somehow interesting to serve it.
    But he will tell you the recipe for making such a mackerel.

    ● Potato - 6-8 pcs.
    ● Mackerel of spicy salting - 1 pc.
    ● Red onion - 1 pc.
    ● Beat cucumbers - 1 cucumber
    ● Salt, pepper, herbs - to taste

    Ingredients for beaten cucumbers:
    ● Cucumber long-1 pc
    ● Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
    ● Garlic -1-2 pcs
    ● Sugar - a pinch
    ● Balsamic vinegar -1 tsp
    ● Vegetable oil-1 tsp
    ● Greens - to taste

    1.Peel the potatoes from the skins. Cut into large pieces and cook in salted water until tender. Drain the potatoes.
    Peel the red onion from the husk. Cut into half rings.
    Add the onions to the potatoes. We take beaten cucumbers and add them together with juice to potatoes and onions.
    Our side dish is ready, not so difficult.


    2.Since I took the prepared mackerel of spicy salting, it remains just to cut it into pieces.
    If you want to make spiced salting mackerel yourself, then you will need

    1 mackerel,
    0.7-1 l of water,
    3 tbsp salt
    2 tbsp sugar
    3-4 bay leaves
    6-7 peas of black pepper,
    5 cloves,
    1 tsp coriander
    2-3 peas of fragrant pepper

    Pre-defrost the mackerel, cut off the head, tail, remove the fins and carefully clean the intestines along with the black membranes.
    Bring the water in the pan to a boil, add all the seasonings and cook for 15-20 minutes, cloves and spices should open taste.
    Let the water cool to room temperature and filter it through a strainer or gauze.
    Now put the mackerel in a cool clean brine. I prefer to salt the whole fish.
    Leave the mackerel on the table for 1 hour. Then you can put the pan in the refrigerator.
    After about a day, the mackerel of the spicy salting is ready, but it is better to stand it for 2 days.
    You can climb into the pot a couple of times and turn the mackerel upside down.
    It’s better, of course, to pick up such dishes so that the mackerel lies in it evenly, without curling, some glass baking dish is suitable.
    We take the fish out of the brine, let it dry and cut into pieces.


    The recipe for beaten cucumbers *
    The recipe got its name due to the fact that we will literally beat cucumbers. I used the handle of a chef knife for this purpose. But first, let's make a gas station. Mix soy sauce, butter, sugar and balsamic vinegar in a cup. If you do not have balsamic vinegar, then you can replace it with apple. Finely chop the garlic and add to the cucumber sauce. Chopped cilantro will also be quite appropriate. Stir the sauce and proceed to torture the cucumber.


    We beat the cucumber with the knife handle. We hit the cucumber carefully and gently, the cucumber should not scatter along the walls of the kitchen with green splashes. But that should crack.


    And now we cut the cucumber in arbitrary pieces. It can be seen that the cucumber has become soft, now it is easily pickled in sauce.


    We take a plastic bag and pour cucumbers there. Pour sauce here too. Mix.
    Now shake and flip the bag. Then I put the bag of beaten cucumbers in the refrigerator for half an hour. We take out the bag of cucumbers and shake them again. Forget about the cucumbers in the refrigerator for another half an hour.


    The beaten cucumbers are ready!

    3.And now we just spread the mackerel of spicy salting on a plate of potatoes, red onions and beaten cucumbers.
